PRODUCT AND SERVICE QUALITY ADD UP TO A SUCCESSFUL SHOW FOR GRAYSON | NOV 2008
Grayson Thermal Systems received orders worth in excess of £250,000 per year at Euro Bus Expo 2008, a figure which is expected to rise over the next few months as discussions continue with various British and overseas visitors to the show.
The company, which manufactures cooling, heating and air conditioning products for buses and coaches, specialist off-highway vehicles and refuse collection vehicles, is also Thermo King’s UK dealer for its air conditioning products for the bus and coach industry.
The company is a long-standing exhibitor at this show and took its largest ever stand this year, to highlight important new product launches and to provide an overview of the company’s expanding range of products and services.
Grayson Thermal Systems managing director Stuart Hateley said: “Our area at Euro Bus Expo was ‘standing room only’ at times, and it generated a lot of quality leads for all three of our divisions.
“The show proved to be the right place to showcase our new Cassette 2 Plus Cooling System, as we enjoyed very strong interest from British and European vehicle manufacturers and operators.”
Grayson’s Cassette 2 Plus Cooling System is a side-by-side cooling module, which is fully compliant with Euro 5 cooling regulations. The system’s configuration makes it easier for vehicle operators to clean each surface of the module thoroughly, to keep it operating at optimum levels.
It has a quick release mechanism that reduces labour costs and vehicle downtime during standard maintenance and replacement operations, and it can be tailor-made to fit any make and model of bus or coach.
The company also showed its new quick release radiator for the Volvo B7TL, designed to offer real savings both on labour costs and on vehicle downtime, and the new Thermo King SR350 air conditioning unit, which has been developed specifically for the UK bus and coach market.
It was not all hard work on the stand: for the first time Grayson also included a games module, inviting stand visitors to compete against one another to achieve the fastest lap time.
