Cooling System Overhaul
A dirty radiator will result in reduced cooling performance. When the higher summer temperatures arrive, the cooling system cannot cope with the increased ambient temperature. Vehicle overheat often occurs mid afternoon, taking the vehicles off the road when you need them most.
Don’t let the external airways become clogged – contact Grayson service and maintenance team to find out more about a spring cleaning programme that will get your vehicles ready for summer. Our check includes:
- Radiator and charge air cooler removal and external clean
- Charge air cooler leak test
- Cooling system leak test
- Fan speed check
- Air flow measurement – before and after the system check
Leaking Charge Air Coolers
Symptoms of a leaking charge air cooler can be vehicle overheating, black smoke, loss of power, increased fuel costs and engine contamination.
But Grayson Thermal Systems has the solution! We have a range of cassette 2 radiators that have been specially developed to replace the cooling package for those vehicles where cooling system access for maintenance and cleaning is unsatisfactory. And they can be removed and refitted in under an hour!

AC System Retrofit
Upgrade your coach with the most advanced AC system available on the market. Our discreet installation means your full climate control system looks like a factory-fitted option.
Vehicle Heating Upgrade
When temperatures drop to freezing, inadequate heating could result in your vehicle being taken off the road. Unfortunately system repairs often cost more than fitting an upgraded system with a full 12 months warranty.
Grayson has re-heated thousands of coaches and buses, taking out older inadequate equipment and fitting more modern efficient systems. Using high efficiency heater elements and long-life blowers, your drivers and passengers will be pleased you opted to save them the discomfort of a cold bus all day!

New GRAYSON CAC test Kit

Bus HEATING AUDITs
Grayson Thermal Systems offer bus heater audits to ensure that the heating system is fit and functional for the winter. The prime requirement is to identify any bus that has defective heating and to accordingly rank buses in an order of importance to ensure buses that are likely to be booked off for cold heating are repaired prior to the colder weather arriving.
