Grayson Thermal Systems Group Managing Director, Stuart Hateley explains the development of a new corporate structure for the company and other important changes.

Please read the full announcement transcript below.

Grayson Thermal Systems has enjoyed a sustained period of growth and is looking to capitalise on this by embarking on the next stage of our expansion across the UK, Europe and North America.

In order to continue to deliver innovative products and world class support to our client base, we have recently undertaken a comprehensive review of our long-term strategy and this has resulted in the introduction of a new corporate structure.

At the heart of this will be the implementation of a Global Sales, Marketing and Customer Engineering team to look after our growing OEM client base.

I will be taking overall business responsibility for this and my brief will be to ensure we continue to build strategic partnerships with our customers through the delivery of quality products and service.

As part of this new approach, James Hateley becomes our new Operations Director and will be in charge of manufacturing operations in the UK and North America.

The expansion we are seeing across all areas of our business means we need to combine synergies across the manufacturing group to ensure products are manufactured in the right location and using the best possible processes…all geared towards delivering the most cost effective price for our customers.

You will be pleased to hear that product development continues to be a key element of what Grayson delivers and investment in Research & Development will be the highest in our history over the next three years.

Our customers have come to expect us to push the boundaries of innovation in the bus and coach sector, creating the next generation of products like E-Drive and Battery Thermal Management, which improve passenger comfort and vehicle performance, whilst minimising impact on the environment.

In order to build and expand on this track record, Ian Hateley will move into the Technical Director role for our business.

Using 35 years’ experience working with transit fleets around the world, he will be at the forefront of our R&D department and new product introduction process, harnessing the skills of talented engineers and specialists in air conditioning, cooling systems, electronic controls, heat exchangers and refrigeration.

The team will work behind the scenes on new innovations, whilst our Customer Engineering team deliver application expertise on our extensive current product range.

Finally, to ensure you receive the very best support we have created Quality Circles for all of our key accounts, which will consist of an Account Manager, Application Engineer, Quality Engineer and Customer Service Representative.

They will be responsible for meeting and surpassing your everyday needs and longer-term requirements.

This is an exciting time for Grayson Thermal Systems and one I hope you will share with us, allowing us to continue to be an innovator within your business.

In the meantime, should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact myself or one of the team.

Yours sincerely,

Stuart Hateley
