Grayson Thermal Systems returns to IAA Commercial Vehicle Show 2014

22nd September 2014

Heat exchange specialist Grayson Thermal Systems is once again attending the IAA Commercial Vehicle Show to showcase its portfolio of solutions for the whole commercial vehicle sector.

Products on show will include the company’s e-drive cooling system, which can be retro-fitted into diesel-powered or hybrid drive buses and coaches, to improve temperature control and fuel economy, optimise powertrain durability, reduce service time and cut noise and vibration.

The e-drive cooling system is now being fitted all around the globe with currently over 1,000 systems in service. The system’s fans and pumps kick in only when required, reducing energy losses and improving engine efficiency through more accurate control of engine temperatures.

In addition, the company will be bringing an example of its cooling solutions for the truck market. Grayson has spent the past three years developing cooling products for truck marques including DAF, Mercedes, Scania, and Volvo vehicles, which it is targeting at major fleet operators and distributors across Europe.

Aishah Minister, Grayson marketing manager, said, “We are so happy to be back at the IAA Commercial Vehicles Show, after unfortunately missing the 2012 edition. We have spent the last four years further developing our E-drive system to provide the market with a product that delivers cost saving benefits and environmental advantages.

Our R&D team has also been working to bring a new solution to truck cooling, and this will be the first time we are showing the results of this work in mainland Europe. IAA Commercial Vehicles is a great platform for us to network with a wonderful industry that keeps providing innovative solutions; we can’t wait!”
