Overview

The PE1 line delivers compact, single-fan air-to-liquid coolers engineered to maintain stable coolant temperatures for power electronics, inverters, and traction motors. In a closed-loop system, coolant circulates via a pump through the components and rejects heat through the high-quality tube-and-fin radiator and integrated fan, providing proven passive cooling.

Models include 24 V DC fans and the new 800 V DC fan cooler (standard) for high-voltage platforms. Options such as integrated header tanks and Grayson’s Intelligent Thermal Controller with proprietary thermal logic offer enhanced control and simplified packaging.

Grayson also works with OEMs to configure or develop new coolers tailored to duty cycles, modelling ambient limits, coolant flow, heat rejection, and target temperatures to provide fully tested, proven, or custom solutions.

Features

With robust construction and efficient design, our coolers provide effective thermal management across a wide range of applications.

  • Air-to-liquid cooling: Keeps coolant at safe operating temperatures to protect inverters and motors.
  • 24V DC and 800V DC fans: Low- and high-voltage options for multiple platforms.
  • Compact footprint: Single-fan design for applications with restricted packaging space.
  • Optional header tanks: Simplifies coolant management and installation.
  • Smart CAN-enabled control: V3 controller optimises fan operation and stability.
  • Proven reliability: Over 100,000 coolers in service across multiple markets.
