Overview

The MD1 electric water pump is engineered for high performance and long service life in demanding heavy vehicle and stationary power environments. Featuring a brushless DC permanent magnet motor and heavy-duty magnetic coupling, it delivers efficient, leak-free coolant transfer without the wear of mechanical seals.

The integrated controller and electronics simplify installation, while multiple control configurations (including standalone, PWM, and CAN) provide flexible integration into new or existing systems.

With optional anodised head for de-ionised water use, the pump offers corrosion resistance and compatibility with a range of coolants.

Its compact, versatile design allows mounting in various orientations, making it a dependable choice for applications where reliability and uptime are critical.

Features

Our electric water pump with magnetic drive is built with features that deliver efficient coolant circulation, reduced wear, and simple system integration.

  • High flow/pressure at low pump speed: Maintains cooling performance while reducing energy consumption and system load.
  • Heavy-duty magnetic coupling: Transfers torque without direct contact, eliminating shaft seals and reducing wear.
  • Brushless DC motor: Provides up to 40,000 hours motor life for dependable long-term use.
  • Integrated controller and electronics: Reduces external components for simpler installation and maintenance.
  • De-ionised water compatible (optional): Suitable for de-ionised water with anodised head upgrade for corrosion protection.
  • Corrosion-resistant construction: Extends service life in harsh operating environments.
  • Quiet operation: Reduces noise levels, improving driver and passenger comfort.
  • Flexible mounting options: Can be installed in multiple orientations for greater packaging flexibility.
  • Run-dry protection: Prevents damage during low or no coolant flow conditions.
  • EMC certified: Ensures compliance with electromagnetic compatibility standards.
  • Multiple pump operation via CAN network: Supports complex thermal system architectures
