Aux Heat EW5-350V DC – 5KW PTC Electric Water Heater

Designed for mid-to-high-voltage electric and hybrid applications, the EW5-350V DC delivers 5kW of PTC-based auxiliary heating in a compact, lightweight package – ideal for space-limited installations.

Compatible with 350V nominal systems (operating between 250–450V DC), the EW5 electric water heater is suitable for delivering cabin heating, windscreen defrosting and demisting, and preconditioning of powertrain systems in cold ambient conditions. The EW5 combines robust thermal performance with CAN-enabled control, giving OEMs real-time diagnostics and seamless integration into an application’s networks. Its low power draw and simple plumbing also make installation fast and flexible.

Housed in a durable, IP6K9K-rated enclosure, the EW5 is tested for long-term use in challenging operational environments – from mining and construction to remote energy installations.
