The BTMS R1 has been developed specifically for the rail sector, where battery reliability, compliance and lifecycle cost are critical.

Using active refrigerant-based cooling and heating, the system precisely regulates battery temperature during operation and charging. A high-performance scroll compressor and plated heat exchanger interface with the battery water-glycol circuit to maintain stable coolant temperatures across wide ambient conditions.

The compact design supports underframe, depending on packaging and cooling requirements. Designed, validated and homologated to meet key rolling stock standards, the BTMS R1 is supplied pre-charged for plug-and-play installation, reducing installation time and cost while ensuring consistent, compliant performance throughout service life.
