Overview

The BTMS M5 maintains optimal temperatures for liquid-cooled traction batteries in high-voltage BEV and FCEV vehicles, battery-electric as well as stationary energy storage applications, maximising cell life, charge efficiency, and system performance.

Controlled by Grayson’s proprietary thermal logic software via CAN J1939 and the integrated Intelligent Thermal Control Module, it monitors coolant conditions and automatically engages active cooling, passive cooling, or electrical heating.

With all major components, including chiller, condenser, water pump, fans, and controls—housed in a single package, installation, commissioning, and servicing are simplified.

Designed for 575–800 V DC and extreme low-ambient environments, the M5 includes a 10 kW electric water heater (optional up to 30 kW) and offers a compact, chassis side-mount, ready-to-integrate solution for OEMs needing reliable thermal management in demanding climates and duty cycles.
