Our BTMS maximises the cell life of batteries by providing precise heating and cooling to your liquid cooled batteries within a specifically defined optimum range.
Controlled by our smart GTS Controller, the advanced system monitors and reacts to the battery cell temperature, providing the necessary heating or cooling as required.
In high ambient territories or during fast charge periods, our standard BTMS uses active cooling to prevent the batteries’ efficiency from being degraded over time. For BEVs and FCEVs operating in cold climates, optional electrical heating is available to ensure the ideal operating temperature for batteries to deliver the desired output.
Additionally, you also have the option to incorporate energy-saving passive cooling, which utilises the slightly lower outside temperate for battery cooling when the coolant set-point is 10C above ambient.
In series production since 2015 and fitted to thousands of vehicles across the globe, our third-generation BTMS range includes our GEN3 Standard, GEN3 Compact and GEN3 Split. It can be installed in a variety of locations to meet your needs: rooftop mounted, chassis integration and body structure integration.
