Overview

The BTMS M3 is engineered for OEMs requiring high thermal output and flexible system packaging. It maintains optimum operating temperatures for liquid-cooled traction batteries in battery-electric and fuel-cell-electric vehicles, supporting consistent cell performance, efficiency, and service life.

Controlled by Grayson’s proprietary thermal logic software via CAN J1939 and an integrated Intelligent Control Module, the system continuously monitors coolant conditions and delivers active cooling, passive cooling, or electrical heating as required.

Unlike the M2, the M3 uses a split architecture, allowing the condenser to be mounted independently, improving installation flexibility while retaining an 11.5 kW cooling capacity. Compatible with systems up to 900 V DC, it is proven in demanding OEM applications worldwide.
