Overview

The EW2 Electric Water Heater is engineered to provide powerful, instant heating for coolant circuits, ensuring optimal temperatures for an application’s passengers, drivers, and batteries.

Using resistive stainless-steel tubular heating elements, it delivers either 10kW or 20kW of heat at 650V DC, with an operating range from 300V to 800V. Its insulated body minimises energy loss, while built-in thermal protection ensures safe operation.

Lightweight, compact, and designed for “plug-and-play” installation, the EW2 is ideal for remote mounting or integration into complete thermal systems. Suited to on-highway, off-highway, rail, and stationary power applications, it performs in ambient temperatures from -40 °C to +85 °C and coolant temperatures up to +90 °C.
