Overview

The CP3 electric water pump is engineered for high-demand thermal management applications requiring increased flow and cooling capacity. Using seal-less canned motor technology, it eliminates mechanical seals and leak paths, ensuring leak-resistant, maintenance-free operation with a long design life of up to 40,000 hours.

Designed for high-voltage architectures (400–800V DC), the CP3 supports efficient coolant circulation across battery, power electronics and fuel cell systems, even in complex or high-resistance loops. Its high flow capability of up to 300 l/min makes it ideal for larger systems or applications with higher thermal loads.

With PWM and standalone control, fully encapsulated electronics, and compatibility with demanding operating environments, the CP3 provides OEMs with a robust, high-capacity thermal management solution.

Features

Our canned motor pumps are designed with features that provide anodised construction, high flow and pressure capability, and more:

  • Seal-less canned motor design: Eliminates leaks and failure points by removing mechanical seals, improving reliability and reducing maintenance requirements.
  • High flow performance: Designed for higher thermal loads, delivering up to 300 l/min for high-demand cooling circuits and larger system architectures.
  • Robust pressure capability: Supports restrictive cooling loops by maintaining stable flow through complex thermal systems with up to 2.8 bar pressure.
  • High-voltage compatibility: Reduces low-voltage system load, supporting modern vehicle architectures while simplifying electrical integration.
  • De-ionised water compatibility: Enables safe use in hydrogen fuel cell applications.
  •
  • High-voltage compatibility: Operates across 400–800V DC systems, reducing low-voltage system demand.
  • PWM and standalone control: Allows simple and precise control without complex communication protocols.
  • Robust construction: Durable materials ensure long service life under vibration and temperature extremes.
  • Fully encapsulated electronics: Protected against harsh conditions, providing protection against over/under voltage, reverse polarity and environmental exposure.
  • Run-dry protection: Protects the pump during unexpected coolant loss conditions.
